DJ/Writer. Drawing from experiences wandering the world since his teens, HOBOBRAZIL writes articles for magazines such as Posivision, Spectator and Balance, whilst actively contributing to festivals and the outdoor party scene. He has been working as the resident life of the party for Bar Bonobo in Ura-Harajuku since its inception, DJing with vinyl he’s amassed since elementary school. HOBOBRAZIL spins any sound from a free genre collection- committed to the path of a melodious omnivore.

DJ/ライター。十代から海外放浪を続けた経験から、posivision、Spectator、Balance等の雑誌に寄稿すると同時に、野外フェスやパーティーの裏方としても精力的に活動。裏原宿の奇天烈bar bonoboの盛り上げ役もオープンから担当すると同時に、小学生から集めてきたレコードを駆使してDJ活動も開始。これはと思ったものをジャンルレスに奏でていく雑食DJを地味に追求中。

Born into Kyoto’s underground scene in 2012, since then they have been tirelessly performing on the circuit. They are a unique dance music female duo comprising of Vocal Effective MARLYN & Electronics Synthesizer EMIL. With MARLYN’s free-styled soulful velvety voice and Emil who DJs to her versatile programming, their music style is borderless and transcends Asian, Middle-Eastern and African influences, yet, is underground to the core. Byakudan is a one-of-a-kind eclectic sound which gratifies enthusiasts and gets dancefloors moving. Striving for a deep bass sound range uniquely balanced with a broad pop sensibility, their performances are constantly evolving and gaining attention. In 2014, they released their 1st album, OPALUS and toured all over Japan. 2015 saw their first international performance in Bangkok, Thailand which was received with great enthusiasm. This year they are planning to release a collaborative work with close musical allies as well as 2nd album.

メロディ・フレーズが躍動する 楽曲制作は 、極むアングラ・エッセンスが
コアに香る ストレンジ ダンスミュージックとなり 、マニアも対応、フロアを
ダンスへと誘う。 呼応する低音域への探求もありながら 二人のユニークな
バランスから溢れる ポップな感性が異彩を放ったパフォーマンスは
年々 進化しつづけ評判となる。
2014年1stアルバム”OPALUS”をRelease。以降、西～東へ日本各地にlive tour、
2015年 初海外ツアー 、微笑みの国Thailandへ、 バンコクを 熱狂さす。
今年内、盟友ツワモノたちによるedit 作品、new 2ndリリース予定。

In the late eighties, he began his career as a drummer, influenced by punk and hardcore.
Through his experiences with many different bands, he encountered rave culture in the UK when he was there for a studio session. Consequently, he started DJing and played an important role in the early techno of the 1990s.
Since 1995, he performed in many big festivals, such as Fuji Rock, as well as underground parties as one of the central members of the charismatic jam band SOFT, and released four albums with them.
At the same time, he started the improvisational techno band "AOA" with BOREDOMS members. They performed in many rave scenes, from locations all over Japan to Australia, releasing five albums.
Also, as a DJ, he played numerous festivals and parties, including RAINBOW2000/MOTHER/Nagisa Ongakusai/ZETTAI-MU/LIFE FORCE/FLOWER OF LIFE/Message Of Love.
In 2006, he joined BASED ON KYOTO. Their first single FLOWER was released in 2007, and Giles Peterson fell in love with it on first hearing it, then played it on his popular radio show "WORLDWIDE."
In the same year, he and EYE from the BOREDOMS, under the unit name SKY∃, remixed the hit tune "Conga la gotta" by the jam band DACHAMBO, who have won over not only club fans but rock fans, as well. Many of his remixes can be heard on DJ playlists and continue to be played as dance floor hits.
In 2007, he moved to Okinawa and formed Churashima Navigator with DJ Nu-doh, Kanako Horiuchi, Daiho Soga and HARIKUYAMAKU, doing gigs and making music as well as providing remixes to OUTDRAW and the Istanbul unit Yakaza Ensemble.
He also does mastering for the COUNTERPOINT EP series by J.A.K.A.M. and so on. As a DJ, he organizes the monthly party UREI, which is held on the 4th Saturday of the month at Otobola in Koza, as well as Okinawa's biggest bass music party/label "budryukyu."

`85年ハードコアパンクに影響を受けドラマーとしてバンドを始め音楽の道へ。`95年〜`05「SOFT」「AOA」の中心メンバーとしてフジロックフェスからアンダーグラウンドシーンまで様々な現場で活動。同時期レインボウ2000等、日本のテクノシーン黎明期のにDJとして関わる。これまでに数多くのバンド/ユニットに参加。個人名義でのリミックス、MIXCD等リリース多数。07年よりコザに活動拠点を移し現在「CHURASHIMA NAVIGATOR」としてLIVEや楽曲制作を行っている。

'94年、京都にてクラブ活動開始。ある日、友人宅でなにげに触ったターンテーブルの魔法にかかり、djを始めてしまう。
おとこ以上にオスを秘めた芯の太いグルーヴと、可憐な花にもなってみせる異彩の両性類。'09年夏、ふたつの虹に導かれ沖縄へ。 '12年よりはコザへと拠点を移し、OTOBOLAの第四土曜日”UREI”にてoutput宙~。さらなる音楽の旅もつづく。。

沖縄県出身/DJ。20代を東京で過ごしDJとして都内各所様々な現場やPartyを体験、2011年に沖縄へ戻り音楽と米軍の街コザ"OTOBOLA"、那覇の桜坂深海スポット"g"などを主にその体験を基とし地元沖縄
でさらにアップデート、沖縄ローカルDJから内地または海外からアーティストとも親交を深めつつフリーキーかつ精力的に活動。
音楽嗜好もジャンルレス多岐に渡り、ダンスフロアーからラウンジ、様々なシチュエーションで独自のサイケデリクスなフィルターを通して、最新のエレクトリックなサウンド、さらにそのルーツである世界各地の民族音楽までをジャンルレスにサイケデリックチャンプルーする沖縄においても稀な世界観を表現するウチナーDJである。
